The Role

My Client has an exciting opportunity for a talented graduate Engineer with high development potential and a can do attitude. You will report to the Internal Sales Manager and your mission will be to support double digit sales growth and play a key role in the pursuit of industry leading customer satisfaction at a pivotal stage in the company’s development as they transform Inside Sales from “sales support” to “sales champions”.

The role is permanent and office based at our site in the North West.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train on the job towards becoming an Inside Sales Engineer.
  • Support the department and improve personal KPI’s (Quotation turnaround days, Quotation Win rate, Delivered margin).
  • Continuously improve sales proposal processes and your technical knowledge.
  • Achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction both internally and externally.
  • Generate and follow up high quality sales leads.
  • Pursue new sales channels, technologies, approaches and opportunities.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent with a recognised Engineering or Process Control qualification.
  • Desire to build a career in the process control / instrumentation industry.
  • A visible passion for sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong interpersonal, organisational and time management skills.
  • High personal drive for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Potential and desire for development .



An extremely competitive starting salary of circa £24k plus bonus is on offer.
