The Company | The company is a market leading manufacturer and supplier of portable and fixed gas analysers and biogas analysers. Around the world these gas analysers are becomming even more important with the growing focus on renewable energy for gas produced in anaerobic digestion and landfill sites. However, gas analysis is only part of a full range of environmental monitoring equipment the the company supplies, including groundwater sampling and monitoring instruments, pneumatic pumps for leachate control and remediation processes, as well as CO2 monitoring and N2O monitors for the laboratory and medical industies. |
The Role | Please note for this vacancy, you must be eligible to live and work in the UK. The position will be directly responsible to the Sales Manager Combination of Office and Field based, depending on current business strategy. Extensive travel and overnight stays may be required. You will be expected to represent the company’s best interests at all times. Function: Support the Sales Manager Achieve Sales objectives and strategies Maintain and increase sales Develop and support customer relationships. Main Responsibilities: Providing 1st line support to customer, using CRM system to manage quotes, demonstrations and customer visits. Provide market feedback to Sales Manager. Work as part of sales team and support other departments. Be the main point of contact for designated product group and territory. Accurate and clear planning of sales visits. Attend trade shows and exhibitions as required. Maintain and develop relationships with strategic suppliers / partners. Undertake product training that may include overnight stays including overseas. Be commecially aware and maximise efficincies and profit at all times. Demonstrate and support equipment in the field as required. Priority of Health & Safety at all times. Communicate problems and improvements to the Sales Manager on a regular basis. Input to marketing objectives and analysis of market data. Give Technical advise to assist clients and colleagues. |
Requirements | Key Requirements: Excellent decision making and communication skills Professional attitude and highly motivated. Time management skills with the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines. Ability to work under pressure. Ability to work under own initiative, but also as part of a team. Good IT skills – CRM and Microsoft Office.
Desirable skills: Knowledge of environmental gas monitoring markets. Experience in direct selling of monitoring and control equipment. |
